Capcom Announces 40-Minute Spotlight Showcase Featuring Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Wilds

Capcom will host its Capcom Spotlight showcase next Thursday at 3 PM PDT, featuring 40 minutes of updates on highly anticipated titles including Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Street Fighter 6. The survival horror sequel Resident Evil Requiem, developed using Capcom's RE ENGINE, is slated for release on February 27, 2026 across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.

Street Fighter 6, recently launched for Nintendo Switch 2, will receive additional updates during the event. The showcase will include developer interviews and extended commentary on upcoming projects. Capcom's strategic timing follows its Summer Game Fest trailer reveal for Resident Evil Requiem, reinforcing its pipeline of major franchise releases.
